Rules

  1. Helmets are essential: Always wear a properly fitted helmet. Kids under the age of 16 must have a helmet.

  2. Supervise Young Riders: Always accompany younger children. This is a family event; let's all enjoy the history of our city together.

  3. Keep the group moving smoothly: Try to match the group’s pace, not too slow, not too fast. It helps everyone enjoy the ride together!

  4. Cars: Please do not follow the group ride in your vehicle. Doing so may cause an unsafe situation for the other riders.

  5. Golf Carts: No golf carts are allowed during this event. Golf Carts will only be permitted by city officials.

  6. Maintain safe distances: Keep a safe following distance from other riders; avoid overlapping wheels.

  7. No distractions: Avoid using headphones or phones while riding, as they can impair hearing and focus.

  8. Is your little one ready to ride? If they can pedal and brake on their own, they’re probably good to go! If your rider is still using training wheels, this route might be a bit tricky. We recommend using a child bike seat or a bike trailer so they can still join the fun safely and comfortably!

  9. We encourage everyone to join on bikes! Scooters, skates, and skateboards can be fun, but they might slow things down and make it harder to keep up with the group. Riding a bike helps everyone stay together and enjoy the ride!

  10. Be patient and encouraging: Make the experience positive and enjoyable for all riders.
